Customers access Merlin’s data through gateways designed for easy programming. Merlin’s gateways are simple to use HTTP-XML (XSL) gateways that return XML scripts. For each search submitted to the Merlin site, results are returned to the customer in the same connection. A customer’s technical staff should be able to program to Merlin’s XML gateway within just a few days.
