 Merlin
has just completed one of the most current and complete residential skiptracing databases
ever compiled, The TraceWizard National Residential Locator. This incredible new
file includes at least 133 million current households, each with the names of up to four
adult household members. Over 78 million records contain a phone number derived from the
most current sources available. The other 55 million households are obtained from sources
such as voters, DMV, professional licenses and real estate ownership. The file contains millions
of dates of birth which are obtained from all the states where DMV information is
available.
The CD-ROM version of the TraceWizard uses the same powerful search and retrieval software as all of Merlin's CD-ROM discs, the DataWizard. You can instantly locate all of the Marys on any Elm Street or all of the Wellingtons in the 310 area code. Our powerful search capabilities make the TraceWizard work like a highly sophisticated national cross-directory. This, along with the quality and content of the database, sets us head and shoulders above the other CD-ROM directories. The entire TraceWizard database is updated quarterly with millions of new addresses from the Post Office's National Change of Address database (NCOA). Updates are also obtained from the Regional Bell Companies who supply new phone orders and change orders. Many other sources contribute to make this file the most complete source of good residential phone numbers and addresses on the market. Even though some of the other cross-directory disc products are updated semi-annually, their databases are derived exclusively from white page directories. As a result, only a portion of their file is updated with each release. The TraceWizard is completely updated with each new quarterly release. As household records are updated, the old addresses and phone numbers are removed from the CD-ROM database. However, we never delete this valuable information from the master file, which resides at Merlin's webserver. If you are a quarterly CD-ROM subscriber, you are given free, instantaneous access through the CD-ROM's DataWizard software, to all of the archived information in the master file. All you need is a standard Internet connection. You no longer have to go back to old CD-ROMs to find information that was deleted to make room for new data. The TraceWizard is available on CD-ROM discs, DLT or 8mm tape. We plan to offer a DVD version soon. You can download the entire file to hard drive, or, if you primarily search one region, we recommend you download that region to your hard drive and access the rest of the file from the CD-ROMs as needed. If you have Internet access, you need not even use the CD-ROMs, nor your own hard drive space. Just install the DataWizard program and search the entire file, including all archived records, directly from our webserver. The TraceWizard file is available with a programmer's toolkit which allows you to integrate our batching system with any external software program you choose.
